CALL FOR SESSIONS & ABSTRACTS
The AMC2024 Scientific Program Organising Committee invites abstract submissions for presenting research as an oral or poster presentation at the 2024 Australasian Melanoma Conference.
Presentation Types
Accepted abstracts will be selected for poster and/or oral presentation and published on the conference app. Accepted authors will be provided with presenter guidelines based on the presentation format allocated by the reviewer. Authors of high scoring accepted abstracts may be approached by the Scientific Program Organising Committee to participate in workshops within the program.
Categories and Themes
Abstracts for consideration of an oral or poster presentation will be submitted under the categories of clinical or scientific papers under the following research themes:

Prevention, risk and clinical detection of melanoma

Supportive care and survivorship

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.

The person submitting the abstract must be one of the authors.

Authors should indicate whether their presentation preference is oral or poster. The Scientific Organising Committee reserves the right to decide on the final allocation and presentation method.

To ensure inclusion in the final program, all presenting authors must register as a delegate and pay for the conference by the author registration deadline of 15 August 2024.

Presenting authors selected for oral presentation will receive Speaker Guidelines at a later date.

E-posters must be provided to the AMC2024 Organising Committee in PDF format prior to the conference. Poster Presentation Guidelines will be provided to authors at a later date.

The submitting author is responsible for the accurate submission of the abstract.
REVIEW & SELECTION
Formal review of all submissions will be conducted by the Scientific Organising Committee in July 2024. Notification of acceptance will be sent via email to the submitting author by 08 August for all formats (authors will receive email notifications on the progress of submissions throughout the submission and review process). Acceptance or otherwise is at the discretion of the Scientific Review Group whose decision is final. All presenting authors must register and pay to attend the Conference by 15 August 2024.
SUBMISSIONS
Abstracts should be submitted via the Oxford Abstracts platform by 30 June 2024 for all formats.
Step 1: Login to submission portal below. Create an author account.
Step 2: Select the most relevant category and theme for your abstract.
Step 3: Indicate your preferred presentation type (oral or poster presentation).
Step 4: Enter your paper title.
Step 5: Type your abstract into the boxes provided (400 word limit)
Step 6: Add in author details.
Step 7: Answer any additional questions and permissions.
